About Matt

Formerly a wood turner and sculptor, Matt works from his home studio at Escot Park, in East Devon.

Initially inspired by the Leach pottery in Muchelney, Matt now works in stoneware, glazing much of his work with his own wood ash glaze recipes.

Matt produces decorative, functional table and kitchenware, and one off pieces – reflecting a subtle Japanese influence.
